Fun fact about the stained-glass columns: I got inspired to design these after seeing a Louis Comfort Tiffany exhibition over a decade ago. He and Clara Driscoll, the head of his women's studio, worked together to design and make stained glass windows, lamps, and even newel posts! I saw in a different part of the museum a mosaic column also designed by Tiffany and decided I wanted to combine the two concepts into one for the temple's interior that you see above.
